I love everything about Korea. The perfectly functioning and clean public transportation systems, the food, the fashion, the arcades. ALL OF IT. Going to the park for cherry blossoms in spring, sitting on a big blanket and skiing in winter. Watching the first sunrise of the new year from the top of local mountains... Really nice and friendly people, going out to the discos in Hong-dae area and hanging out in Insa-dong and Myung-dong on Sunday afternoon... Eating ttokbokee from a street vendo... Eating ramen and sushi roll at a convenience store. And of course the fascinating culture, history, and art... It has become my desire to settle down and live in Korea.

Korea is amalgamation of new and tradition and everything in between. I always have and always will admire this fantastic jewel of Asia. It is about continually discovering unexpected surprises and Korea will never be a bore. Beautiful scenery throughout all four distinct seasons and healthy food offering refreshes your mind, body and soul. I don't think I can live without ban-chan (side dishes) and get cravings for kimchi on a daily basis. Whether it is a walk through Myeong-dong or the famous mixed rice dish of bibimbap in Jeon-ju or the bamboo city of Damyang, the country keeps offering delightful surprises and anywhere you go, everyone is so friendly and warm-hearted. You can't help but steep in the charms of Korea's rich culture with its hustle and bustle of citylife as well as quiet serenity temples and many beautiful mountains. Korea is indeed is a once in a lifetime destination and is a home to my heart!

Great spicy food which I really love, people who are friendly and have an amazingly funny expressions, clean environment and great culture. These are the things that intensify my desire to visit Korea. I have never been there but because of korean friends whom I met in the Philippines, I feel like I have been there. It is my greatest desire to personally see and experience all the wonderful things that they are telling me. Most of all, going there would mean meeting my friends again. The Hangul is also amazing and interesting to learn. I am trying to study it now so going to korea would inspire me more to continue studying it...^___^

Korea has been my home for the last several years. What began as an adventure, now is my life. Seoul has offered me unlimited chances for exploration, both personally and artistically. Teaching here has also been tremendous and through my work I can enjoy and get to know Korean students who are eager to share their moments and days with me. Aside from them, I have enough time to travel and have been all over the country. The scenery here affords me the chance to reflect, be it on sand or in the midst of mountain forest. In terms of food, I love new restaurants and trying traditional to modern dishes - each with its own charm and taste. In sum, my time here continues to feed my imagination while the culture here sustains my insight, my desire to write and script experiences.
